In the same way that I expect to pay for any <b>useful</b> online service (whether it's directly via subscription or a freemium model or indirectly via advertising or data collection/trend mining), I felt some sort of remuneration was deserved. <p> </p> And honestly, if "Jimbo" wants to piss away my $20 donation on first class tix to Korea, I'm not really fussed - just so long as Wikipedia keeps on delivering for me like it has countless times in the past. I admittedly know little about Wikimedia’s financials or “Jimbo’s” transgressions (sheesh, that word is certainly getting its 15 minutes of fame!). But, what I do know is that Wikipedia has been a great utility for me personally.
